U2 star Bono and the Italian Prime Minister Renzi to fight global hunger together

U2 front man was the protagonist, with the Italian Prime Minister, of the event organized by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture to promote world food assistance: the initiative was aimed at spreading the principles of the Milan Charter and the activities of the World Food Programme

One of the best voices of rock music in the world in support of the long and complex fight against global hunger. The face is that of Bono Vox, leader of U2. The context is the Italian pavilion at Expo Milan, which on September 6th hosted an event where politics, entertainment and humanitarian effort were combined. The front man of the Irish band got on stage with the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to embrace the principles of the Milan Charter and promote the work of World Food Programme.

The cooperation between one of the uncontested protagonists of International music and the Italian Prime Minister was promoted by the Irish and the Italian Ministers of Agriculture, Simon Coveney and Maurizio Martina. The event represents an important opportunity of visibility for the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies that entrusted the management of its events during the Universal Exposition to the communication agency Pomilio Blumm, for many years now involved in communicating the issues related to the preservation of our planet and of future generations.
