Design is a thought activity: we should not replace it with a mere “optimizing” approach, because it’s from imperfections that talent emerges.
Opening an in-depth analysis on communication, fostering remarks on current tendencies and supporting research on new languages and codes: these have been ICS Magzine’s objectives since 2010, when the magazine was launched in Italy.
The upcoming presentation of the first English version, with Obama’s web strategist Harper Reed on the cover, marks the launch of the magazine on the international stage and confirms its mission: being a think-tank and a catalyst of pioneering insights on public and institutional communication.
Supported by Confindustria Assafrica&Mediterraneo, the Department of Communications and social research of the “Sapienza” University in Rome, Transparency International-Italy and Italian Association of Semiotic Studies, the magazine has quickly revealed its cosmopolitan essence.
Over the years, it has collected high-profile remarks by great international gurus, such as Zygmunt Bauman, Jacques Séguela, Alastair Campbell, Biz Stone, Michael Fertik. Every issue has combined the “gurus’ voices” with remarks of experts and personalities from the professional, institutional and research spheres.
