Young anti-corruption activists from around the world will congregate soon in Lithuania’s capital Vilnius, to take part in the fifth Transparency International School on Integrity. Since 2010, the school has welcomed more than 350 students, graduates and young professionals from over 60 countries.
Together with anti-corruption and accountability professionals, these young leaders will acquire the necessary skills to stand against corruption in their countries and learning about the causes of corruption and how societies can become more transparent and accountable.
«With the variety of workshops and activities available, we were provided with different tools and knowledge on how to strengthen and empower our initiatives and campaigns against corruption» explains former student Hend Abo Al Saud from Egypt who described the experience as “eye-opening and revelatory”.
The application deadline is 1 May 2014 for non-EU students and 14 May 2014 for EU students. A limited number of scholarships are also available for prospective students. The School on Integrity will then start in July 2014.
