EXPO 2015: the European Union agenda

A rich agenda full of events for the EU at the Milan Exhibition: over 70 events, among conferences and meetings, to address the theme of food resources from different perspectives and reconfirm the institutional commitment for a more sustainable Europe and world

From May 1st to October 31th 2015 Milan will host Expo 2015, the Universal Exhibition on the theme “Feeding the Planet: Energy for Life”, gathering 147 countries as well as international organizations and for which 20 million visitors are expected.

The European Union will take part to the Expo with its own space and has scheduled a rich agenda: over 70 events focused on a wide range of topics related to the theme of Expo, from agriculture to industry, from trade to develpment, from humanitarian aid to food safety, from food quality to energy, from climate change to environment, from research to innovation.

The European Union, supported by the agency Pomilio Blumm for the organization of its events at the 2015 Universal Exhibition, confirms its commitment to face the challenges related to the management of food resources, from trade to health to international cooperation.
