Economy and culture proceed together: Malta, protagonist of one of the most relevant economic growths of the Mediterranean area, after eighteen years returns to the Biennale in Venice, that will take place from May 13th to November 26th 2017.

Thanks to a series of economic reforms, Malta is now living a process of transformation and diversification of its economy, traditionally related to tourism. The country has been focusing important cultural goals, including the great event in Venice, whose theme for this year is “Viva Arte Viva”.

Many Mediterranean and African countries will attend the 57th Biennale in Venice, such as Angola, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kenya, Lebanon, Syria, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, Zimbabwe and, for its first time, Nigeria.
