Alastair
Campbell

Campbell is, today, considered one of the most influential and listened to communication strategists and crisis mediators on the world scene. Political editor of the Daily Mirror during the late 1980s and early 1990s, he then became spokesman for Tony Blair and Director of Communications for the British government. In 2007, his collected memoirs were published in the book, The Blair Years, which became an immediate bestseller. His deep understanding of the systems of communication led him to specialise in the new media, in strategies for change and in crisis management.

During the first edition of ICS Rome he shared with the audience his "ten golden rules" to address and overcome a crisis through communication strategies.
