Design is a thought activity: we should not replace it with a mere “optimizing” approach, because it’s from imperfections that talent emerges.
Lawyer, writer and University professor, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s niece and Robert’s eldest daughter, is an eclectic personality of the US historical dynasty, cradle of some of the most far-seeing interpreters of Western society and its changes.
Kennedy Townsend has stood out at both political and social level. Lieutenant Governor of Maryland from 1995 to 2003, among her several non-governmental activities, in 1984 she set up the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award, a yearly international prize for those personalities giving a meaningful and bold support to human rights protection in their countries.
By virtue of her institutional and civil commitment, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend will be guest of honour and main speaker of the next Oscar Pomilio Forum, annual summit on ethics and worthiness, scheduled for next March 10th in Pescara, Italy.
