Climate change is a matter of life or death according to Transpanecy International: fighting it, just like fighting corruption, means protecting, in the first place, who’s first and worst affected by both phenomenon: the poorest and the future generations.

That is why the global organization is committed to help ensure that the money invested to support countries prevent climate change and adapt to its worst effects go where they’re needed.

In fact, TI chapters around the world are monitoring climate finance as it enters and is distributed throughout their countries. Transparency International has also created a Handbook for communicators and journalists on climate change and corruption: a guide that provides a thorough background on all things climate finance and helps turn complex, technical narratives into compelling stories.
